History
Johnson-Romito Funeral Homes has been serving families since 1913.
With locations in Bedford, Hudson, Northfield and Twinsburg,
Johnson-Romito is a well-known and respected part of each
community. Donald B. Johnson began the Donald B. Johnson Funeral
Homes in 1913, he was succeeded by his sons James and Marshall
Johnson. In 1977 Edmund J. Romito purchased the funeral homes,
after working for the Johnson's for nearly 20 years, forming
Johnson-Romito Funeral Homes.
Family Ownership
A family owned business can support the community directly without
concern of corporate approval or control. In a day when many
funeral homes are owned by huge conglomerates that have no regard
for community involvement, the Romito's are committed to
maintaining family ownership. This enables them to support and
remain active in the communities they serve.
Trust
Johnson-Romito Funeral Homes provide the same caring
and compassionate service instilled by Donald B. Johnson. Through
this thoughtful service, the Romito family and staff continuously
strive to retain the trust they have earned from those in need.
Vocation
For everyone at Johnson-Romito Funeral Homes, funeral service is a
vocation. Each family who comes to Johnson-Romito can expect to be
treated with the concern, dignity and respect they deserve.
